The Word of YHVH - Water In The Desert

The Word of YHVH

Joh 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim.

The Word spoken of in the “New Testament” is not the gospels and the letters of Paul written in there, but is the writings of Moses and the Prophets. They referred to the Word within the gospels and thus could not have been the same thing. The Word is the will of YHVH written down in words, in the Hebrew language and is then called the Scriptures. The Scriptures consists of the Torah; the first five books of the “Bible” and the books of the Prophets, and the Psalms. These are grouped under the name “Tanak” or Scriptures. It is referred to as the Old Testament in our culture. The Bible is a book compiled containing the Tanak and the Brit Cadasha (New Testament). The words “Old Testament” and “New Testament” in them self cause confusion because of our direct interpretation. The “New Testament” is not new in the sense that it replaces the “Old Testament” but it made the Tanak strong and confirmed what has been foretold and prophesied. You will not know Who “Jesus” or Y’shua is without the foundation of the Tanak.

The Word of YHVH is the spoken words of YHVH and in context here in John’s Gospel, the Tanak. This Word became flesh and walked among us. The Word became Y’shua and Y’shua walked in the will of YHVH, showing the will or spoken instructions of YHVH, living out YHVH’s will in a human form, to show man how to be the voice of YHVH walking in the world, just as in the beginning. (Gen 3:8)

Gen 3:8
And they heard the voice of YHVH walking about in the garden in the cool of the day,

The Word is also the Torah as given to Moses.

Isa 1:10
Hear the Word of YHVH, rulers of Sodom; give ear to the Law (Torah) of our YHVH, people of Gomorrah.

Psa 103:20
Bless YHVH, O angels of His, who excel in strength, who do His command (Torah), listening to the voice of His Word.

Psa 1:2
But his delight is only in the Law of YHVH; and in His Law he meditates day and night.

Bringing these two thoughts together shows us that Y’shua is the Word, He is the Torah and He is the Law or instructions of YHVH, think about it. YHVH’s will is given to man through His instructions. Y’shua said:

Joh 5:30
I can do nothing of My own self. As I hear, I judge, and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of the Father who has sent Me.

Mat 12:50
For whoever shall do the will of My Father in Heaven, the same is My brother and sister and mother.

Y’shua came to live the Torah or Law in mans sight, to show them the will of the Father and How He wants us to live as His set apart people. It still stands and Y’shua confirmed it in Matt 5:

Mat 5:17-18
(17) Do not think that I have come to destroy the Law (Torah) or the Prophets. I have not come to destroy but to fulfill. (18) For truly I say to you, Till the heaven and the earth pass away, not one jot or one tittle shall in any way pass from the Law (Torah) until all is fulfilled.

The Word, as John described it, in fleshly form, is Y’shua, the Savior and the Judge. It is by YHVH’s Word (Y’shua) that man will be saved, and by YHVH’s Word, (Y’shua), man will be judged. His Word is the measuring stick and the rod of destruction in the last day. His Word is the living water and the Light of the world.

Joh 7:38-39 (38) He who believes on Me, as the Scripture has said, "Out of His belly shall flow rivers of living water." (39) (But He spoke this about the Spirit, which they who believed on Him should receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Y’shua was not yet glorified.)

Pro 13:14
The law of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.

Psa 1:2-3
(2) But his delight is only in the Law of YHVH; and in His Law he meditates day and night. (3) And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth its fruit in its seasons, and its leaf shall not wither, and all which he does shall be blessed.

Joh 8:12
(12) Then Y’shua spoke again to them, saying, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Pro 6:23
(23) For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life;

Psa 19:8
(8) The Precepts of YHVH are right, rejoicing the heart; the Commandments of YHVH are pure, giving light to the eyes.

The Law or Torah or Commandments are like water and a light, the same things Y’shua said of Himself. This shows us that Y’shua is YHVH’s Commandments, His Torah and His Law, in the flesh. If you take away the Law, you are taking away Y’shua as well.

Y’shua did not come to take the place of the Law, Mat 5:17, but is the Law in the flesh! He came to give meaning and understanding of what has been written which people perverted. He came to cleanse the Word that people (Pharisees) bent out of shape, and to give the pure Word (water) and Commandments back to the people. The only things that changed are the sacrifices and the Temple. Y’shua became the Sacrifice and we became His Temple. The rest still stands.

What offended YHVH then is still offensive today, murder is still murder, idolatry is still idolatry, and stealing is still stealing.

The two things people changed today is the Sabbath is now Sunday and Unclean things are now clean. Nowhere in Scripture was it ever prophesied that the Messiah will come and make unclean things clean and move the Sabbath to the first day of the week. This is man’s own doing and falls in the same category as what the Pharisees did back then.
