Psa 119:103 How sweet are Your Words to my taste! More than honey to my mouth!

Honey gives you energy and strength and make taste great. This comparison explains to us the real experience consuming YHVH’s Word. Some people don’t experience His Word like this, why? Honey, in it’s natural form, is contained within the honeycomb. The honeycomb houses and protects the substance inside. If you approach YHVH’s Word only on a surface level, you are eating the wax and not the honey.

The wax can be eaten, but does not have the substance or taste of what is inside. To consume the honey, you have to bite into the honeycomb and let the sweet taste and nourishment fill your being. The written words are the wax and the revelation of what lies deeper is the sweet honey. You have to meditate on His Word to actually bite through the wax, to get to the sweetness thereof. Only reading it will be a tasteless and dry experience. Why do you think His Word is connected to honey? Honey in Hebrew is the word “debash”. This word’s first part is “dobe”, meaning ‘Bear’. There are several other “sister” words that also starts with “dobe” (Dalet-Bet) and are related. These words are:

• “Dobe” – meaning ‘strength‘ and ‘rest’
• “Dawbab” – meaning ‘to move gently’
• “Dibaw” – meaning ‘ whispering’
• “Deborah” – meaning ‘bee’
• “Debach” – meaning ‘to sacrifice’
• “Debeer” – meaning ‘the Holy of Holies’
• “Debir” – meaning ‘sanctuary’
• “Diblaim” – meaning ‘two cakes’
• “Dabak” – meaning ‘to cling to’
• “Debek” – meaning ‘joining together’
• “Dabake” – meaning ‘to adhere to’
• “Dabar” – meaning ‘word’
• “Dober” – meaning ‘pasture’
• “Dibri” – meaning ‘My word’
• “Dabeseth” – meaning ‘the hump of a camel’ and ‘place on a hill’

All these are descriptive of YHVH’s Word; His Word gives us strength and He speaks gently to us. His Word is a soft voice and instructions to cling to. His Word is causes us to produce seed (bee). His Word is the Messiah Who is our Sacrifice. His Word is the two tablets given on the mountain (two cakes). His Word is found in His heart, the most Holy place and in His presence.

His Word is the green pasture that His sheep feed on. His Word joins people to Himself and to other people. His Word is food in the dry places and nourishment in difficult times (camel’s hump). His Word is found in the Holy place where you set yourself apart to make time to consume it while you rest (Shabbat). His Word is full of guidelines and instruction to adhere to.

All I did here is to read to you out of a Dictionary, this is how “intelligent” YHVH’s Hebrew language is and those who seek the deeper meanings will be fed with the sweetness thereof.
