Eze 37:1-28
(1) The hand of YHVH was on me, and brought me by the Spirit of YHVH, and made me rest in the midst of a valley, and it was full of bones. (2) And He made me pass among them all around. And behold, very many were on the face of the valley. And lo, they were very dry. (3) And he said to me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord YHVH, You know. (4) Again He said to me, Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the Word of YHVH. (5) So says the Lord YHVH to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. (10) So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the Spirit came into them, and they lived and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army. (14) And I shall put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. And you shall know that I YHVH have spoken and have done it, says YHVH. (15) And the Word of YHVH came to me, saying, (16) And you, son of man, take a stick and write on it, For Judah and for his companions, the sons of Israel. And take another stick and write on it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and all the house of Israel, his companions. (17) And join them to one another into one stick. And they shall become one in your hand. (18) And when the sons of your people shall speak to you, saying, Will you not declare to us what these mean to you? (19) Say to them, So says the Lord YHVH: Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions, and I will put them with him, with the stick of Judah, and will make them one stick, and they shall be one in My hand. (20) And the sticks on which you write shall be in your hand before their eyes. (21) And say to them, So says the Lord YHVH: Behold, I will take the sons of Israel from among thenations where they have gone, and will gather them on every side, and will bring them into their own land. (22) And I will make them one nation in the land on the mountains of Israel, and one King shall be king to them all. And they shall not still be two nations, nor shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all. (23) Nor shall they be defiled with their idols, even with their filthy idols, nor with all of their transgressions. But I will save them out of all their dwelling places, in them where they sinned, and will cleanse them. And they shall be to Me for a people, and I will be to them for God. (24) And David My servant shall be King over them. And there shall be one Shepherd to all of them. And they shall walk in My judgments, and obey My Laws, and do them. (25) And they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant, the land in which your fathers have lived. And they shall dwell in it, even they and their sons, and the sons of their sons for ever. And My servant David shall be their ruler forever.(26) And I will cut a covenant of peace with them. It shall be an everlasting covenant with them. And I will place them, and multiply them, and will set My sanctuary in their midst forever.(27) And My tabernacle shall be with them. Yea, I will be their God, and they shall be My people.(28) And the nations shall know that I YHVH sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary shall be in their midst forever.
Act 2:17
‘And it shall be in the last days, says Elohim, that I shall pour out of My Spirit on all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams,
Joh 7:38-39
“As the Scripture said, out of His innermost shall flow rivers of living water.”1 Footnote: 1Isa. 44:3, Jer. 2:13, Jer. 17:13, Zech. 14:8, Ps. 36:8,9, Prov.14:27, John 4:10, John 6:63, 1 Cor. 10:4, Rev. 7:17, Rev. 21:6, Rev. 22:1 & 17. (39) And this He said concerning the Spirit, which those believing in Him were about to receive, for the Set-apart Spirit was not yet given,1 because Yeshua was not yet esteemed. Footnote: 1Ezek. 36:26-27, Joel 2:28-32, Acts 1:4-8, Acts 2:4 & 33, Acts 10:44-47, Acts 11:15-16, Eph. 5:18.
Water is the Hebrew word “mayim”. Water is a symbol of YHVH’s Word.“Mayim” has an open and a closed “Mem” with a “Yod” in the centre. The open “Mem” is said to be ‘revealed knowledge’ of YHVH and the closed “Mem” is 'hidden mysteries' of YHVH. The "Yod" in the centre is constantly revealing mysteries about YHVH, and this is His water flowing and the "Yod" represents His Spirit.
1Jo 3:2
Beloved ones, now we are children of Elohim. And it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
The name Nehemiahmeans ‘comfort, alleviation of misery, refreshment of mind and spirit, happiness in distress, strengthened in hope, joy and courage’. It consists of the following letters and their meanings:
- “Nun” – Fruitfulness, multiplication, fish
- “Chet” – Life
- “Mem” – Water
- “Yod” – Hand of YHVH, Spirit
- “Hey” – Light All these are attributes of the Messiah found in the “New Covenant”.
All the meanings of the letters point us to the attrebutes of the Messiah, and this shows us that Nehemiah was a foreshadow of the Messiah. Through the Messiah there will be multiplication of believers, there will be Life through receiving His Spirit, He is the Living Water and He came to earth to be YHVH's 'hand' to fulfill His Plan.
Nehemiah was the son of Hachaliah, meaning, “whom YHVH enlightens”. Y’shua is the light of the world and YHVH enlighten us through Y’shua and He is this Light. The book of Nehemiah is significant to see what happened in his life, because this gives us a better understanding of the work of the Messiah and YHVH's Plan.
Neh 1:3-8
(3) And they said to me, “The remnant who are left of the captivity in the province are there in great evil and reproach. And the wall of Yerushalayim is broken down, and its gates are burned with fire.” (4) And it came to be, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned for many days. And I was fasting and praying before the Elohim of the heavens, (5) and I said, “I pray, YHVH Elohim of the heavens, O great and awesome Ěl, guarding the covenant and kindness with those who love You, and with those guarding Your commands, (6) please let Your ear be attentive and Your eyes open, to hear the prayer of Your servant which I am praying before You now, day and night, for the children of Yisra’ĕl Your servants, and confess the sins of the children of Yisra’ĕl which we have sinned against You. Both my father’s house and I have sinned. (7) “We have acted very corruptly against You, and have not guarded the commands, nor the laws, nor the right-rulings which You commanded Your servant Mosheh. (8) “Please remember the word that You commanded Your servant Mosheh, saying, ‘If you trespass, I shall scatter you among the peoples… (9) but if you shall turn back to Me, and guard My commands and do them, though you were cast out to the end of the heavens, I shall gather them from there, and bring them to the place which I have chosen, to make My Name dwell there.’
Neh 2:1-3
(1) And it came to be in the month of Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaḥshashta the king, when wine was before him, that I took the wine and gave it to the king. And I had never been sad in his presence. (2) And the sovereign said to me, “Why is your face sad, since you are not sick? This is none else but sorrow of heart.” Then I was very much afraid, (3) and said to the sovereign, “Let the sovereign live forever! Why should my face not be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers’ tombs, lies waste, and its gates are burned with fire?”
Artaḥshashta is not a name but the title of a Persian king, meaning; ‘the silence of light’ and ‘fervent to spoil’. Fervent to spoil means that this king's blood was boiling (angry), and he wanted to conquer and take spoils. This is a prophetic picture of the king of Kings Who came in the silence of light (first Coming of Yeshua) and Who will come with great force (Second Coming of Yeshua), to conquer and take His spoil (Bride).
This confirms Y’shua at the bosom of His Father and in His Fathers shadow (presence). In the Father’s presence there is fullness of joy, peace (lily), beauty (rose) and righteousness. As we have seen before; Nehemiah is the wine bearer (High Priest) and present the wine (His blood) to the King (Father) so that He may rest from His anger against the unrighteous.Persia means - ‘that cuts or divides; a nail; a horseman’.
Shushan means - lily rose and joy.
Rose is first used in Scripture in Son 2:1, speaking of the Rose of Sharon. Sharon comes from the root word “yashar”, meaning; straight, upright and righteous. Rose is the word ”chăbatstseleth”, consisting of the parts; “chab” (bosom) + “tsale” (shadow) + “tav” (stake- shadow of death).
Neh 2:6-7
(6) And the king said to me (the queen also sitting by him), For how long shall your journey be? And when will you return? So it pleased the king to send me, and I set him a time. (7) And I said to the king, If it please the king, let letters be given me to the governors Beyond the River, so that they may let me pass through until I come to Judah,
Queen is the word “shegal”,meaning; ‘to seize and take away by force’ and ‘wife of a king’. The centre letter of this word is “Gimmel”, representing the Spirit of YHVH. “Gimmel ” also means Camel and is a picture of a load being carried through the desert. The word “shegal”, starts with a “Shin”, meaning fire. The Spirit is the fire and zeal that is burning inside of us to do YHVH’s will and to seek Him. “Shegal” ends with a “Lamed” and shows us that His Spirit is our teacher in this life (physical – left).
Neh 2:7
And I said to the king, If it please the king, let letters be given me to the governors Beyond the River, so that they may let me pass through until I come to Judah,
This gives us a picture of the religious leaders (governors) who took away from YHVH’s Word and transgressed against YHVH. The letter the king gave to Nehemiah is prophetic of Y'shua Who came in the authority of the Father to come and teach YHVH's Word. His teachings were different to what the religious leaders taught and His teachings "washed" the Word clean from man's traditions and corruption (lies)."Governors", also means; ‘beyond the river’ and the word for ‘beyond’ is the Hebrew word, “awbar” that means; across, to take away, to transgress’.
Neh 2:8
and a letter to Asaph the keeper of the king's forest, so that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the palace which belong to the house, and for the wall of the city, and for the house into which I shall enter. And the king granted me what I asked, according to the good hand of my Elohim upon me.
Neh 2:9
And I came to the governors of the province Beyond the River and gave them the king's letters. And the king had sent captains of the army and horsemen with me.
Neh 2:10
And Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, heard. And it grieved them very much that there had come a man to seek the good of the sons of Israel.
Neh 2:11-15
(11) And I came to Jerusalem and was there three days. (12) And I arose in the night, I and some few men with me. And I did not tell to a man what my Elohim had put in my heart to do at Jerusalem. And there was no animal with me, except the animal that I rode upon. (13) And I went out by night by the Valley Gate, even before the Dragon well, and to the Dung Gate, and looked at the walls of Jerusalem which were broken down, and its gates which were burned with fire. (14) And I went on to the Fountain Gate, and to the King's Pool. But there was no place for the animal that was under me to pass. (15) And I went up in the night by the brook and looked at the wall, and turned back, and entered by the Valley Gate, and returned.
Rev 1:18
and the Living One, and I became dead, and behold, I am alive for ever and ever, Amen. And I have the keys of hell (Dung Gate) and of death (Valley Gate).
Neh 2:16-18
(16) And the rulers did not know where I had gone, nor what I was doing. Nor had I told the Jews as yet, nor to the priests, nor to the nobles, nor to the rulers, nor to the rest that did the work. (17) And I said to them, You see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem is wasted, and the gates of it are burned with fire. Come and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, so that we may no more be a reproach. (18) And I told them of the hand of my Elohim which was good upon me, and also the king's words that he had spoken to me. And they said, Let us rise up to build. So they made their hands strong for good.
Neh 2:19-20
(19) But when Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arabian, heard, they laughed us to scorn, and despised us. And they said, What is this that you do? Will you rebel against the king? (20) And I answered them and said to them, The Elohim of Heaven, He will bless us, and we, His servants, will arise and build. But you have no portion or right or memorial in Jerusalem.
Rev 3:9
Behold, I give out of those of the synagogue of Satan, those saying themselves to be Jews and are not, but lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.
Mat 24:10-123. The third group of people are from Geshem, the Arabian. Geshem – rain, to be rained upon, body. Arabian – “mixing”, people living east and south of Israel. Rain always represents the Sprit. These are the people who have accepted Jesus and have experienced the rain of His Spirit. These people only focus on the rain (Spirit) and mix in their opinions to support their perception of God and His Word. These people only thrive in ‘signs and wonders and miracles’. Their flesh that leads them blinds them, and they have a very shallow knowledge of YHVH and His Word. They will mock you and scorn at you trying to find the truth and follow it. They have knowledge of YHVH but do not know Him. The reject Torah and have a shallow understanding of the ‘New Testament’
(10) And then many will be offended, and will betray one another, and will hate one another. (11) And many false prophets will rise and deceive many. (12) And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many will become cold.
Rev 16:13-15
(13) And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. (14) For they are spirits of demons, working miracles, which go forth to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that day, the great day of Elohim Almighty. (15) Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is the one who watches and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.
Mat 7:19-23
(19) “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. (20) “So then, by their fruits you shall know them – (21) “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Master, Master,’ shall enter into the reign of the heavens, but he who is doing the desire of My Father in the heavens. (22) “Many shall say to Me in that day, ‘Master, Master, have we not prophesied in Your Name, and cast out demons in Your Name, and done many mighty works in Your Name?’ (23) “And then I shall declare to them, ‘I never knew you, depart from Me, you who work lawlessness!’
Rev 20:4-13
(4) And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the witness of Y’shua and for the Word of Elohim, and who had not worshiped the beast nor his image, nor had received his mark on their foreheads, nor in their hands. And they lived and reigned with The Messiah a thousand years.
(5) But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. (6) Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. The second death has no authority over these, but they will be priests of Elohim and of The Messiah, and will reign with Him a thousand years. (7) And when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be loosed out of his prison. (8) And he will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle. The number of them is as the sand of the sea. (9) And they went up over the breadth of the earth and circled around the camp of the saints, and the beloved city. And fire came down from Elohim out of Heaven and devoured them. (10) And the Devil who deceived them was cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet were . And he will be tormented day and night forever and ever. (11) And I saw a great white throne, and Him sitting on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And a place was not found for them. (12) And I saw the dead, the small and the great, stand before Elohim. And books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. (13) And the sea gave up the dead in it. And death and hell delivered up the dead in them. And each one of them was judged according to their works.
