Free from the Law - Water In The Desert

Freedom

To be free is to be able to make your own choices and to live your life the way you think it must be lived. Total freedom means to make any choice you want, without any limitations. The person that has the most freedom is the one above restrictions, like for instance a King. The King makes the rules and He is “above” the law because He is the author thereof. He can change it whenever he likes and His choices are above his restrictions he imposes. The only thing to remember that goes hand in hand with choices, is that every choice has a consequence.

There was once a king that was seen as a god, his name was Pharaoh and he, being a god, made the rules and made the choices he liked. In other words he was very free and properly the man with all the freedom he could want. This caused him to make choices when he was confronted with YHVH through Moses and resulted in serious consequences he did not thought could happen. This was because he was worshipped as a god and he was the one at the top, but YHVH showed him that He was far above him and proved so with the plagues He sent upon Egypt.

The word Egypt means “bondage” and the king Pharaoh, was the free man ruling over it. Are you the king of your life, so free to make whatever decisions you like because there is grace and freedom? The reality is that you may be free to make the decisions you like or think is right, but you WILL reap the consequences, and these consequences are the reality of your choices hitting you right in the face. These consequences are what binds you or let you live a free life, so real freedom lies in making the right decisions to be able to live free.

YHVH gave us His Word, the Torah with the Renewed Covenant of grace, but everything is still based upon His Instructions, giving us a guideline of parameters, wherein we can make our decisions, without consequences that are binding. People that think they are FREE from the Law (YHVH’s Instructions) and is now under Grace, so that they can be FREE to do what they see fit, they are like the foolish king Pharaoh, who thought he was above the Law of YHVH and look at his life’s consequences.

YHVH’s Quality of Life “Chai Olam” is a life lived within His boundaries, full of Blessings and Freedom. Make Him the King of your life and climb off your throne, accept His authority and make life changing decisions under the guidance of His Word.
