This study comes from the studying of the words meaning “To Cover”. The word for “cover” used here is “mor” and means myrrh, a drop, flowing down. The other root word for cover is “lawt” meaning mystery, secrecy and myrrh. Both these words have the meaning, myrrh, sacred oil and aroma. The first place it was used in Scripture is in Gen 30:23

Exo 30:23-25
(23) Take also to you principal spices, five hundred shekels of pure myrrh, and half as much of sweet cinnamon, even two hundred and fifty shekels, and two hundred and fifty shekels of sweet calamus, (24) and five hundred of cassia, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and a hin of olive oil. (25) And you shall make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the perfumer. It shall be a holy anointing oil.

The Hebrew word for myrrh is “mor” and is an ingredient in making the anointing oil. Lets look at the ingredients:

Myrhh

Myrhh - (mor) – 500 – Bitterness of pain, bitterness of an Harlot’s end, flapping if the wings, filthy, Lordship of YHVH (Master), 5 =Grace. [His lovely aroma came through the bitterness of pain He had to bare and the bitterness of Harlot’s death He had to face. He concurred death and became the Master from Whom you can receive the lovely smell of the full measure of His grace]

Sweet Cinnamon

Sweet Cinnamon - (kin-naw-mone) - 500 divided in 2 – The first two letters form the word “kane” that means, “Nest, jealousy of YHVH, zeal, to acquire, to buy”-The last three letters is based on the root word “mawn” which means “manna, from out of”

Sweet Calamus

Sweet Calamus (kawneh) - 500 divided in 2 – Create, to buy, possess, measuring rod, stem (Vine), shaft, branches.

Sweet (beshem) – 500 divided in 2 – Spice, balsam, sweet smell, Adding a “Tav” or “Cross” at the end of “beshem” gives the name of Ishmael’s daughter “Bashemath” (nations coming in) and also Solomon’s daughter’s name (Israel coming in)

[His grace is divided in to two, one part for the daughter of Ishmael and one part for the daughter of Solomon. This grace is connected to the Cinnamon (Nest – House & manna – Spirit) and Calamus (His possession – Bride & measuring rod –Torah) He is the Vine and we are the branches, both the Isrelites and the Gentiles. His grace is for His Bride, consisting of Israel and the Gentiles, to come in by the work of the Spirit and the Torah, to come and live in His House. Both will be measured (judged) the same way with one measuring rod.]

Caccia

Caccia (kiddah) – 500 – It only means spice but this word’s root “kod” repeated twice, gives the word “kodkode” meaning “Head, crown, hair covering”

[Y’shua, the Head, wearing the crown, came to the earth to add “spice” and flavor and He will come again for those under His covering, the full measure of His grace, and rulership as their King]

Holy Olive Oil

Holy Olive Oil (qodesh zajith shemen) – We understand that “qodesh” means to be set apart. The word for Olive “zajith” is symbolized by the “Zajin” or Word, the “Yod” or Spirit and the “Tav” or “Cross” (Olive tree).

[These three explains the Sacrifice and redemptive blood of the Messiah, the Word (Y’shua) and the Spirit. These three forms the basis of salvation and to keep walking Holy unto YHVH. The last word “shemen” is where the “Nun” or fish gets connected to the Name of YHVH (Shem). This is to show the adoption of us (fishes in the sea (nations) brought out into the light, with His nets (scattered Israelites)]

These four (work of the Messiah) ingredients are put into the medium of Oil which represents the “seat” or Throne of YHVH, which is the fifth “ingredient” in making the oil to be used on the Golden (shining Glory of YHVH) Altar (High place – authority) if incense. The “sweet” (rest) smell (Ruach) of this fragrance let YHVH cease from His anger (nose) and be gracious to man. So the 5 items that makes the “sweet” “smell” is that what causes YHVH to be gracious to us. It is the work of the Messiah (4 ingredients) immersed and mixed into the Spirit, Ruach HaQodesh.



We see from the Menorah pattern that there are 4 groups of events, starting from the work on the stake (cross).

1. He paid the price and bought us and concurred death (curse)
2. Now we are His possession, both the Israelites and Gentiles and He is zealous over us with a love a man has for a woman.
3. He is the standard that has been raised and will judge all who are part of the vine and those who are not. The Israelites and Gentiles are both branches in the Vine and are measured by the same standard.
4. At the end of time He will be King and Ruler over the new Jerusalem and live with His Bride (all then Israelites)

The two inner legs are covered by the outside legs representing Grace (500). There is only one way to get grafted into this tree and it is through the work of the Messiah on the stake (cross). There is only one ending and it is the Kingdom of YHVH where Y’shua is living with His Bride. All of this is in perfect balance and are build upon the center foundation shaft;

• The work of Messiah on the stake(cross) and the Blood of the Lamb, forgiveness and redemption and adoption and reconciliation.
• The work of the Spirit in and through us; establishing all these things on this Menorah.
• The Word, the Person of the Messiah, Y’shua or Bridegroom and King. Intimacy through a personal relationship with Him. Y’shua revealed through the Torah.

These matches the following statements in the “New Testament”:

Rev 12:11
And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony. And they did not love their soul until death.

Mat 7:21-23
(21) Not everyone who says to Me, Master!Master! shall enter the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven. (22) Many will say to Me in that day, Master! Master! Did we not prophesy in Your name, and through Your name throw out demons, and through Your name do many wonderful works? (23) And then I will say to them I never knew you! Depart from Me, those working lawlessness!

Joh 3:5
Y’shua answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless a man is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Mat 22:2
The kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king who made a marriage for his son.

His Spirit’s anointing oil helps you and gives you the following:

• Faith in the Master Y’shua, that He is King of your life
• A zeal for YHVH and wanting to be part of His House
• Knowing that you are His, He bought you with His blood
• Knowing that you are covered under His Crown and that you are also crowned in Him
• To walk holy as set apart people
• To reveal His Word to you
• To reveal His Spirit to you
• To reveal His redemptive work for you (grace)
• Knowing that you bare His Name and that you are part of Him.

Looking at the Oil from our side, gives us the way we should react to YHVH to be a sweet smell unto Him:

• Believe in the Y’shua, Him being the master and you His bondservant.
• Loving YHVH from your heart, enjoying being part of His House
• Everything you own is His, for His joy and purpose.
• Living under submission of His Spirit’s guidance and Y’shua’s Kingship.
• Walking a set apart life, pleasing unto Him, finding out what He likes and dislikes.
• Having time for His things (Shabbat) so that He can reveal His Word to you through His Spirit to know and understand His work so that you can disciple others.
• Baring His Name proudly, not dishonoring it by being part of worldly and fleshly things.

There are eight words (new beginnings) that are based upon the anointing oil and the Myrrh of YHVH. We will now look ate each one to give us insight in the anointing oil of YHVH.
